Glycerin 21 Launch

Gravity had a good run. With the launch of the Glycerin 21 – their lightest and most cushioned shoe yet – Brooks wanted to make a splash. To drive buzz, we flipped the Brooks Instagram upside-down for the two weeks ahead of launch, culminating in a release of gravity-defying product photography and weightless video renders.

Behind the Shot

To capture the gravity-defying weightlessness of the new Glycerin 21, we sought out talent that were absolutely exceptional at headstands – gymnasts and yogis, mostly. Our team shot them upside down, using the sky and clouds as the backdrop. We then flipped the photos back so the shoes appeared right-side-up, walking (and running) on air.

Content Partnership

To further visualize the true weightlessness of the Glycerin 21, we partnered with @takeongravity to produce a series of short-form content for Instagram and YouTube that received over 8 million views.
